We serve healthy food that is not only delicious, but fresh, creative, and nutritious. We are a restaurant where everyone in the family will find a delicious meal suitable for all types of diets and sensitivities.

We like to make a difference in people’s lives by offering healthier restaurant food while educating our guests about the food they are consuming. We believe that health is directly linked to what and how we feed our bodies. We do not have microwaves or fryers. All of our food, dressings, sauces, mayonnaise, sandwich patties, and breads are prepared in-house from their rawest forms.

There are a few 100% gluten-free concepts out there but most do not have bread. Our breads are so soft, moist and delicious; people have a hard time believing they are gluten-free.

We create our own proprietary, flour blend for our freshly baked breads, sprout our own lentil and garbanzo beans and strive to purchase as many organic products as possible. The only oils we use to cook our dishes are olive, sunflower and coconut oils.

Since we make all dishes in our kitchens, there is no risk of gluten cross-contamination. We serve familiar dishes with a healthy twist: sandwiches, burgers, bowls, omelets, soups, salads, waffles, desserts, and made to order juices and smoothies.

We provide plans and specifications for the layout, design, and signage for your restaurant. We also provide a comprehensive pre-opening training program for up to five people. This training lasts 35 days for owners and general managers, with 14 days of training for line cooks, servers, and juicers. Training covers general restaurant operations, food preparation, and more. Fresh First representatives will also spend up to 14 days providing on-site support around each restaurant’s Grand Opening. We will also provide a copy of our confidential operations manual to guide effective restaurant operations on a day-to-day basis. We will also provide remote support to answer any and all questions that may arise, as well as ongoing guidance and refresher training as needed.

We look for franchise owners who have experience in managing a business — particularly restaurant management experience. Franchisees, or their approved operating partners, are required to be actively involved in the management and operation of the restaurant. We also seek franchise owners who have a sincere interest in healthier eating and living habits because they better understand and more thoroughly appreciate the benefits of the Fresh First concept and lifestyle.

The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with three additional successor agreement options of five years each.

The projected initial investment range for a single start-up restaurant location ranges from $411,700 to $670,450. This investment amount includes an initial franchise fee of $30,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.

Franchisees will pay a royalty fee of 6% of gross revenues. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of recipes, marketing tools, training programs, and system updates.

Fresh First requires franchisees to spend 2% of monthly gross revenues on their local marketing efforts. A marketing contribution fee will of 1% of gross revenues will also be collected. That fund will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Fresh First brand as a whole and to fund the creative costs of developing franchise marketing materials and campaigns.

We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resources on a case-by-case basis.

Fresh First awards right of first refusal to protected territories, which typically have a radius of 3 miles, except in an urban location, in which case the territory will be chosen during the sales process, depending on the density and population in your city.

Your franchise agreement will require you to develop and open your restaurant in 6 months from the time you sign our franchise agreement.

We will provide input on how to best build out the location according to our design standards, including specifications and layouts for a Fresh First restaurant. These specifications will cover the requirements for dimensions, design, image, interior layout, décor, fixtures, equipment, signs, furnishings, and color scheme.
